This has been another busy week down at camp. The cabins are finally enclosed! Larry Thompson, Stacy Bodder and Bob Wheeler balanced on the roofs trusses to get the last roof on Cabin 13.
They are all tyvek wrapped, with completed roofs, new vinyl windows and newly installed doors. It is great to be able have them enclosed now so that no matter what the weather, our volunteers can keep going, indoors or out!
The last of the cabins was wrapped this week so that the windows and doors could be installed. Bob Wheeler and John Cole again did so much of this work this week. It is hard work and requires them to be away from home, especially Bob who travels down from Rochester.
Ridge caps were added to all the cabins to keep out weather. All of the four cabins are now at the same point in construction. Next steps will be to install the ceilings in the cabins in preparation for the insulation.
This weekend we have canceled the work day as we remember the death and resurrection of our Lord. As important as the building projects are, they are only to support the mission of camp which is to introduce the Lord Jesus Christ to campers and to present the good news of the salvation made possible through Him. Join us as we remember the Lord together this weekend!
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Ephesians 1:7
He is risen indeed!
