Thanks to all of our volunteers who attended our Re-certification weekend held at Cornerstone Bible Chapel in Rochester last weekend. Many had to travel quite a distance to get there and we appreciate the commitment to both study and re-certify as well as their willingness to serve at camp in the summer. Thank you!
Many of our programs could not run if not for these committed volunteers. All of our lifeguards, wranglers and ropes course facilitators are required to have a current CPR certification. 
If you are not currently certified in CPR and want to serve at camp, please contact your local American Red Cross office to find out where classes are in your area. This is a very practical and very necessary part of running a safe and healthy camp!
Thanks again to all who attended. Just a reminder that we will be holding our first Wilderness and Remote First Aid training at camp next weekend, April 13-14, 2012. You are required to already be certified in CPR. Please contact Betsy McIntee if you plan to attend.
