Would you Serve as a Camp Counselor this year?

In Scripture, there is a call on each of us as believers to teach others. Some of this teaching concerns relationships but all of it is spiritual in nature. If you love the Lord and are called according to His purpose, your desire should be to see others come to know the Lord and all to increase in their faith. There are many verses that encourage us to do this, but here are just two:
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

This command applies to both men and women, but there are special instructions for women who are more mature in the Lord. We are to behave as believers and share with others the source of our faith.

Likewise, older women are to show their reverence for God by their behavior. They are not to be gossips or addicted to alcohol, but to be examples of goodness. They should encourage the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible and pure, to manage their households, to be kind, and to submit themselves to their husbands. Otherwise, the word of God may be discredited. Titus 2:3-5 (ISV)

For those that have never served as a counselor at camp and wonder what is involved, we have prepared a short video that will show you what a typical day might look like! Take a look and let us know if you would be willing to serve this year! Click on the link below:
