Roofs Now Installed on the Three New Cabins

Cabin 11
Work had been going well on the three new cabins but an added sense of urgency arrived this week with the impending mid-west weather event called Storm Draco! They are forecasting between 12-14" of snow this weekend with high winds and there were no metal roofs on any of the cabins!

Thank you to Larry Thompson, Stacy Bodder, Bob Wheeler and John Cole who worked at breakneck speed today to get these cabins enclosed. The next stages will be much easier because of what was accomplished today. Thanks to each of them for their dedication and hard work. It is greatly appreciated!

Cabin 15
We ended the day with not only three cabins enclosed and ahead of schedule, but it was done without incident or injury! We are grateful to the Lord for His answer to our continued prayer for safety. We are looking forward to the happy faces of the campers when they see the work that has been done since the end of the camp season.

As we head into the week when we remember the birth of our Lord, we stop to give thanks for all that we have received as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  Luke 2: 9-11
From all at Camp Li-Lo-Li, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and God's blessing for the year that lies ahead!
